Bingo-like casino game crossword clue - New York Times ...

Let’s say you live in Hawaii, and you have a small poker game(of like 5 people) for real money, does that count as gambling, or does the law just count for larger ventures like casinos, bingo and sports betting?

Statements by Premier Kenney
Opening Statements
  • Here to lay out additional health measures which are necessary to protect healthcare system and save lives
  • Alberta has faced most of the year with lower levels of spread, hospitalizations, and fatalities
  • Having said that, last few weeks are different
  • Incredible work is being done by healthcare workers in face of this
  • Delays in surgeries have occurred, which for some may result in a shorter lifespan
  • Not doing anything now will result in continued growth of hospitalizations and further strain on healthcare
  • On advice of chief medical officer, restrictions have occurred. Government realizes that this can impact businesses and cause adversities
  • Knows many feed policies are unjust and why provincial government has stressed education first instead of using policy
  • On the other hand, while space can be made, it will have further health impacts (e.g. running out of capacity in hospitals)
  • If stronger action isn't taken now, hundreds or thousands more Albertans will die
  • Data appears to suggest a stabilization (around a reproductive factor of around 1.2), but that isn't enough
New Restrictions
  • As of today, all outdoor and indoor social gatherings are banned
  • The mask mandate will expand to all indoor places, with exception of rental homes and farm operations
  • As of December 13th, 12:01 AM:
  • (1) Retail, grocery stores, and shopping malls are restricted to 15% of capacity, down from 25%. Kiosks are open for takeaway service only. Malls cannot be used for socialization and shopping only
  • (2) Places are worship to 15% occupancy with previous restrictions applying. Online and drive-in services are still recommended
  • (3) Restaurants, pubs, bars, lounges and cafes are restricted to takeout and delivery services only. This will open up their access to provincial and federal supports
  • (4) The following will be closed:
  • (4a) Gaming centres (e.g. - casinos, bingo halls, gaming entertainment centres)
  • (4b) Recreational facilities
  • (4c) Indoor entertainment (e.g. libraries, science centres, water parks)
  • (4d) Trade centres
  • The restrictions do not apply to service visits, healthcare, or childcare .
  • (5) All Alberta employees must work from home unless employer requires physical presence for operational reasons (up from a recommendation)
  • No changes to schools beyond what was previously announced
  • These are all province wide and will be in effect for 4 weeks
  • Goal has been to be targeted. However, the whole province is seeing significant spread
Christmas
  • Knows the holidays are important for many people
  • The hard truth is that the single source of spread is at-home gatherings
  • If we let people gather for Christmas, we'll see a spike in cases
  • We can't let that happen, so please follow the gathering restrictions previously noted (only in-household or with 2 close contacts if you live alone)
Increased Enterprise Support
  • This isn't the fault of anybody who followed the guidelines
  • Until the contact tracing system was overwhelmed, we didn't see it being the fault of business owners
  • But we are seeing spread so widespread, it doesn't matter how careful you were
  • These are decisions are a last resort
  • Knows this impact will be real. So financial support for small and medium size enterprise
  • 4x growth in small and medium enterprise relaunch grant, while lowering eligibility from 40% of revenue lost to 30%. This will also be retroactive to March
Closing Statements
  • Thanks Albertans for their work for most of the past 9 months
  • We are seeing the end with vaccination possibly beginning in weeks...the end is in sight
Q&A
  • Why now, instead of two weeks ago?: Goal is to reduce contacts, assuming Albertans respond. This should be a very strong message and reduce transmissions. Measures have been increasingly harsh because each restriction creates harms, will hurt people who have sunk all their money in a business, and potentially increase self-harm. So this is a last resort
  • Why keep retail open instead of just curbside?: Encourages curbside, but some people may not be able to live without basic goods. Even most stringent policies around the world have kept retail open in some capacity. Feels the designation of essential and non-essential businesses in spring was a mistake
  • Why is cabinet being transparent about the reproductive value (R or Rt)?: Are preparing ways to publicly present this data, as well as healthcare capacity. Targeting next week
  • Do you think the softer measures before will cost lives/make economic recovery more difficult?: Shutting down early would have had significant impacts. Thinks it'd be a huge mistake to draw correlations between strictness of restrictions and outcomes and that there is a reasonable balance being stuck
  • Since you defined Covid representing "a tiny percent" of deaths, 300 deaths have occurred. There have been significant growths in hospitalization and cases. Do you take personal responsibility?: Rejects the premise of the question and calls it more of an "NDP speech". Feels the province has done more than other jurisdictions, especially early on. Also notes that BC, who has a government of opposite end of the political spectrum, has had a similar approach
Statements by Minister Shandro
Additional Details on Health Measures
  • Goal is to limit in-person interaction
  • Retail restriction has a floor of 5 people
  • Ski hills can remain open, provided restrictions are followed
  • Realizes that this is a lot to take in, but person-to-person exposure is fuelling the spread
  • We need limit contacts and be aware of the situation around you (even outdoors or at the grocery store)
Q&A
  • How does outdoor gathering ban even work?: Goal is to restrict social gatherings. So do not socially gather indoors or outdoors. If they gather in a park or on the sidewalk, that isn't allowed. Difficulty will certainly lie in enforcement and hopes it won't need to be used. It will be up to law enforcement to determine if they feel they need to use it
  • (Additional comment by Dr Hinshaw: Intention is to prevent group social activities. Not prohibited is fitness activities provided distancing occurs)
Statements by Minister Schweitzer
Opening Statements
  • Wants to make people aware that there will be significant impacts. This is not lost on anyone in government
  • Knows many people are impacted because people have ignored public health orders.
Additional Details on Small Business Supports
  • 40% may not be able to re-open after these closures without supports
  • Small businesses may now qualify for $20,000 support (up from $5,000) with a decrease in revenue lost to 30%
  • An additional 15,000 businesses should be able to qualify for this (totalling 500 million dollars)
Q&A
  • How many people will be affected with these restrictions?: ~30,000 businesses will be affected. Will be seeing how many people
Statements by Dr Hinshaw
Cases
  • 426 schools have active cases (~18%) with total of 1,701 cases
  • 108 schools on watch list (5+ active cases)
Edmonton Zone
  • The Royal Alexandra Hospital has decided to place facility on "Watch" status as a precautionary measure
  • Hospitals are safe places to receive care, but be aware that staff are under extreme stress
  • Edmonton Zone will enact additional measures:
  • (1) Postponing up to 60% of non-urgent surgeries (up from 30%)
  • (2) Diagnostic imaging may be reduced by up to 40%
  • (3) Ambulatory visits and procedures may be reduced as needed
  • AHS will contact those who are impacted
  • This is why these measures are needed and a sign of how Covid may impact more than the ill
Scope of the Situation
  • If you gathered all the people who have tested positive, it would be the 5th largest city in Alberta
  • 1/3 people have been tested
  • On October 8, positive rate was 1.34% with 184 cases in province
  • Today, positive rate is 9% and 7 day average is 1,785
  • Outbreaks in almost all group settings
  • People from 1 to 108 have been infected
  • Knows restrictions will impact many people
  • The fastest way to get there is to embrace these restrictions
  • Knows many people have embraced already, but everybody will need to do more
Q&A
  • Why do we think these measures will work, after the last two rounds?: This is the most significant round of restrictions. Points to Israel as an example (who shrunk their cases faster than even their first wave). Target will be to bring the health system out of risk
  • If someone is coming in from out of province, is that allowed?: If it's someone from out of province, it isn't allowed
  • A follow up question noted an example of family members in Alberta were quarantining were 2 weeks before Christmas. Challenge is that enforcement of a "quarantine" will be difficult to control. Province is saying "gathering for Christmas" won't be allowed with people who don't live in the home. Knows it's a big imposition but any suggestions like in the question may cause a Thanksgiving-like increase in spread

How to Maximize Profit - IMPORTANT - READ THIS

For the majority of these offers you want to play blackjack following the chart found here
Any blackjack game will do, look for a normal version of the game at the site you are playing on and make sure it is a non live game as the hand sizes will be lower.
When playing blackjack there will often be more than one spot that you can bet on, allowing the player to bet more than one hand at a time, Its important to only bet on one spot at a time as it reduces the variance of the game and will ensure you get the maximum return possible from the game, stick to £1 hand sizes when playing and dont be tempted to bet larger amounts as you will be getting a nice amount of cashback from every offer
Through playing blackjack this way the player will get a return of around 98%, meaning for every £100 staked you will lose around £2. If you make a loss on a casino site after completing the required wagering amount, withdraw your remaining balance, don't chase loses as the cashback will make up for loses and give you a profit in most cases.
All offers are updated fairly regularly, make sure to check the terms for each offer as information in this post may become outdated. Also check for other offers every now and then as new casinos are added!

  • Letters include concerns about family impacts and economic impacts, as well as the loss of life
  • Has phoned front line healthcare workers over weekend and sought out their advice
  • Has noted the hesitation of further restrictions before and focus on targeted measures. The vast majority of Albertans have worked to the guidelines
  • Spread is speeding up and is significant at long term care. We need to do "everything we can" to protect them. That requires dedicated work from the community
  • Must also protect healthcare system. Healthcare system is at risk, and Edmonton Zone is an example of the trade offs that now must be made. Other services will have to be put on hold if the trend continues, even with the spending in it
  • Measures below were not taken lightly. These are the "minimum restrictions needed" right now to protect healthcare system and avoiding widespread damage to livelihoods
New Measures
  • Declaring a State of Public Health Emergency in the province of Alberta
  • Series of mandatory measures also approved:
  • For social gatherings: No indoor social gatherings will be permitted in any setting and outdoor social gatherings will have a limit of 10 people
  • For funerals and weddings: 10 in-person limit and no receptions will be permitted
  • Social events have been one of the biggest driver of cases. Weddings and funerals are one of the biggest widespread drivers of transmission ("This is just a reality")
  • These social gathering restrictions are province-wide and can be subjected to fines
  • An emergency alert will be sent to all Alberta phones this week to make Albertans aware
  • Gatherings of worship services will be capped of 1/3 of Fire Code with mandatory masking if region is under enhanced status. This is now mandatory. This will be evaluated mid-December
  • Effective Friday, for regions under enhanced status, three temporary restrictions will be added at businesses and services:
  • (1) The following will be closed: banquet halls, conference centres, trade shows, concert venues, community centres. All levels of sport too, but must apply and have an approved exemption
  • (2) Retail businesses and services will be limited to 25% of occupancy limit
  • (3) Hair salons, personal wellness services, hotels, and professional services will be limited by-appointment
  • In-person dining and bars can continue, but must abide by guideline. Each dining tables will be limited to 1 household
  • Asking all workers that can work from home to do so. Government of Alberta will do so
  • These will be reviewed in mid-December
  • On November 30th, Grades 7-12 will end in-person schooling for 2020 and Winter break will begin December 18. In-person learning will be delayed until January 11, 2021
Closing Statements
  • Effective immediately, masks are mandatory in Edmonton and Calgary Zone
  • The measures are tough, but necessary to protect Albertans from a "crushing lockdown"
  • Knows this will be hard and encourages people to shop local
  • Will give a chance to review before Christmas
  • If the measures do not have meaningful impact, further restrictions will be made in December
Q&A - Announced Restrictions
  • Alberta has had some of the least stringent measures and highest cases rates. Is today's announcement that it failed? Why are we doing the "minimum"?: Thinks the response has been effective for a long stretch of time. Obviously an issue has cropped up in the past few weeks. Also notes a "chase after 0 [cases]" shutdown won't be the goal and that restrictions and interventions, in accordance with Charter of Rights, should be limited to minimizing infringement of rights to achieve a goal
  • How will you enforce gathering restrictions?: No "snitch line", but will be expanding enforcement officers (Level 1 and 2 peace officers) to enforce orders and writing the tickets (up to $1,000/person). Anticipates officers will see if obvious "large gathering signs" will be noticed
  • How is in-person dining not "indoor gatherings"? How do you feel about doctors recommending closing in-person dining?: Notes dining is one household and limited spread in dining centres and asks those with a secure paycheck ("particularly a government paycheck") to think about those who sink life savings in dining services
  • Why are stores being restricted if they are not a significant cause of spread?: Compares well to other provinces who have fully closed retail. Thinks it was a grave mistake to allow big box stores to remain open because they had grocery/pharmaceutical sections while small businesses must close. That said, restrictions must be made to limit social spread
  • Due to challenges with Albertan spread information, what data is being used to make the decisions?: Points to data from previous 8 months
  • Are you confident that these measures will control cases by December 15?: Yes. Notes the challenging balance between infringement of rights and controlling cases. Also hopes this will be a "wake up call" to those not following the guidelines
  • (Interjection - I felt this was important and it needs to be separated from the above question). Kenney recognizes he will get quite a few people "on [his] Facebook page" angry at the restrictions. Wants to emphasize this is not a lockdown. Nor is this an abstraction. If you know someone waiting for surgery, this is to protect them. It's not about politics, but for them. It's not something he wants to do and is upset about the situation. But it's not enough to complain. Challenges people to explain how to grapple with timely healthcare access if Covid continues to spread and more need care
Q&A - Future Restrictions
  • How bad will it have to be to announce a lockdown?: Would like to avoid it if possible. Key metric will be hospitalization (in particular, ICU), measured against capacity. (Interjection - The wording of the rest of the response was focused on more targeted measures if these restrictions do not limit spread within 3 weeks)
  • Are there specific thresholds for lift measures/add more measures?: On 15th of December, reproductive value (R) must be <1 to lift measures. Ideal target is 0.80. We are currently at 1.3 in Edmonton, 1.1 in Calgary
Q&A - Other
  • Where is Alberta when it comes to vaccine and rapid testing?: Alberta depends on the federal government. Notes disappointment in the slow roll out of rapid testing (though 577,000 tests have been delivered). Hopes to announce more roll out details in the week. For vaccine, Oxford trial has also headed to mass production (giving Canada 3 incoming vaccines). When it arrives, will likely begin with healthcare workers and vulnerable populations
Statements by Minister Shandro
Further details on the above guideline
  • Indoor social contact should be limited to you household. If you live alone, you may have two non-household social contacts
  • Indoor social gathering gatherings doesn't apply to home based services
  • Funeral/wedding gathering limits can result in $1,000 fine, up to $100,000 through courts
  • Additional details for restaurants/bars/pubs/lounges: Must follow 4 points: (1) 6 person/table limit, all from one household, (2) same note as above for single person household (and limited to the same two people), (3) only seated eating/drinking allowed, (4) no other services are allowed (e.g. billiards/darts)
  • Encourages takeout/delivery/curbside pick up when possible
  • Enhanced screening of measures will begin
  • Retail services extends to bingo halls, fitness, pools, etc. No group fitness is allowed, nor team practice or games
  • Casinos can be open for slots only and follow the liquor laws of bars and casinos
  • 25% limit includes grocery, pharmacies, clothing, computer, hardware, automotive stores, etc
  • Doctors can continue in-person care
  • Diploma exams will be optional - parents may choose to seek an exemption
AHS Capacity
  • Working with AHS to expand capacity
  • Commits that AHS will have all the resources needed to respond
  • But AHS also needs people to change their behaviour
Statements by Dr Hinshaw
Numbers
  • Dip in case number was due to fewer tests
  • Active Alerts/Outbreaks (1+ active cases) in 318 schools (~13%), with 1,135 cases. 181 schools with outbreaks (2+ active) with 65 on watch list (5+)
  • 103 deaths in last 2 weeks. Of them, 62 were in continuing care and 12 in acute care. Of the 29 community deaths, 14 were <70 years old

Up to £244.55 profit in cashback through gambling offers with TopCashback, Quidco and OhMyDosh

Up to £244.55 profit in cashback through gambling offers with TopCashback, Quidco and OhMyDosh
TopCashback, Quidco and OhMyDosh always have a number of gambling offers available, with the offered amounts often changing daily or weekly. There are currently quite a few offers available on each where the cashback amount is more than the required deposit or wager amount. I've done most of these and always keep an eye out for when the amounts increase, to make sure I can get the most for my money. The offers they have on today are some of the best I've ever seen for each of them.
The first step is to sign up for the cashback sites if you haven't already. If you use a referral link to sign up then you can get an extra bonus once your cashback becomes payable:
Then the next step is to work through the offers. These are all only available for new customers, so if you already have an account with one of the sites then you won't be eligible for the offer from them unfortunately. It's also worth checking the terms as some have specific wagering requirements, for example Betfair Poker must be completed within 3 days of opening your account and low risk roulette bets (covering 25 or more of the 37 outcomes) are excluded from counting towards the wager.
Offers
# Site From Cashback Deposit/Wager Profit

23 FreeBingoGenie OMD £0.60 - £0.60
24 Cheeky Bingo OMD £10 £10 -
25 bgo OMD £10 £10 -
Notes
If you complete all these offers then you should make £232.55 cashback in profit through the offers alone. If you are new to the cashback sites and sign up through referral links then this will be £244.55 instead. There's also a chance you can make a profit on any or all the offers and walk away with even more.
There's also a final few key points:
  • Make sure you have all adblockers and tracking protection switched off as otherwise this may lead to issues with the cashback tracking correctly.
  • I've listed the highest paying in terms of deposit/wager to cashback offers here, but if you have a preference for one cashback site over the other then they often offer very similar amounts if you'd rather go with the other instead.
  • Similarly, some sites (OhMyDosh in particular) offer a lower cashback amount but also a lower deposit/wager amount, which may be more appealing to some.
  • I don't like to say the cashback is guaranteed as all the cashback sites say it never is, but I've never had an issue with any of these sites, whether through gambling or other offers.
  • Please be aware that these all these offers all are gambling, so I'd highly recommend depositing and wagering only the mimimum amount required to get the cashback, then withdrawing any profit you may have made.
  • Please Be Gamble Aware when using these sites.
Let me know if you have any questions about any of these offers :)

Ranking the Sonic Heroes Stages

Ranking the Sonic Heroes Stages
In this blog post, I will rank all fourteen Sonic Heroes stages.

Part 1: E Rank Stages (14th to 12th)

https://preview.redd.it/6ymjya0v1y861.png?width=380&format=png&auto=webp&s=79ec9ebf42a3bdaf2bbd2db1691e2b0426f4a06b
14th: BINGO Highway.
Easily the worst stage in the game. The pinball controls are just garbage, so most of the time, you'll be stuck on pinball tables for a long time. And worse, you can fall off the pinball tables and die.
13th: Casino Park.
It's basically BINGO Highway, but it doesn't have anywhere that you can fall off the pinball table. However, it does have boring switch puzzles, which are monotonous.
12th: Hang Castle.
This stage has gravity mechanics, and if you've seen my placement of Crazy Gadget on my previous ranking list, you know I despise them.

Part 2: D Rank Stages (11th to 9th)

https://preview.redd.it/qao2m2mo3y861.png?width=385&format=png&auto=webp&s=d36089daaae2198d5ac3a0c67a81f884efe8ba88
11th: Mystic Mansion.
This stage isn't as bad as Hang Castle, but the switches are still annoying in that they spawn enemies, especially those Egg Spears wielding metal shields.
10th: Ocean Palace.
This stage has an annoying chase sequence with boulders that will almost certainly catch you on the jumps unless you're lucky.
9th: Seaside Hill.
This stage is a bit better than Ocean Palace, but it's still kind of boring to play through.

Part 3: C Rank Stages (8th to 7th)

https://preview.redd.it/b0rfxdo44y861.png?width=374&format=png&auto=webp&s=2fb7846ec51879331138754c8d7752af7c0e740f
8th: Grand Metropolis.
This stage is Seaside Hill, but more interesting. However, it is on the easy side, so not much to say here.
7th: Final Fortress.
This stage suffers from being way too long, but otherwise, it's a decent stage. I even like those self-destruct switches that send you flying to the next area.

Part 4: B Rank Stages (6th to 4th)

https://preview.redd.it/ok3903xr1y861.png?width=384&format=png&auto=webp&s=3888426b2140263be0c985de60104c183f1bf61e
6th: Lost Jungle.
You travel through a jungle, defeating enemies and encountering black frogs that kill plants. These black frogs can help you out by having fruits take out enemies. It has a chase sequence in the form of an alligator, but it's far better than the boulders in Ocean Palace.
5th: Frog Forest.
This stage is less annoying than Lost Jungle because it doesn't have an alligator chase sequence with the vines and black frogs at the end.
4th: Power Plant.
This stage is basically Grand Metropolis, but more interesting. It has enemies on elevators that you need to defeat, and there's an energy storage tank at the end that keeps you on your toes.

Part 5: A Rank Stages (3rd to 1st)

https://preview.redd.it/pa8dsr2z0y861.png?width=422&format=png&auto=webp&s=c0f97c9aee245b0b4f1b3b0774dc3719279c4829
3rd: Egg Fleet.
This stage has you move form battleship to battleship, and you can even destroy some of them using your Speed character (Team Sonic and Team Dark only).
2nd: Rail Canyon.
Everyone seems to hate this stage, but I really like it. Its main gimmick is rails, which almost the entire level is made of. I have never died on this level, though its extra mission for Team Sonic is just painful.
1st: Bullet Station.
Easily my favorite stage in the game. This is another stage I like that everyone else hates. It's basically Rail Canyon, but it has more variety to it, such as train tunnels and huge cannons.

Conclusion

And there you have it. My ranking of Sonic Heroes's fourteen stages. How would you rank the stages? Let me know in the comments.

The Degen Chronicles: A Renaissance

With 42 crisp hundreds lining my pocket and child-like wonder pulsating, Vegas was summoning me from the bowels of hell. But first, I had to take a little detour by Morongo Casino for no particular reason other than recently reading up about Jackson's Seminole Wars and Cherokee policy; felt like the right thing to do.
I smoke a few bowls from my apple piece and do some Tai Chi in the parking structure to immerse into the zone. Within the zone, I am as objective as a poker player as I can comprehend; once the zone crumbles to ego, I am a PLO donk from the pit of eternal suffering and going all in on long shot stock options. It's a perplexing duality to rationalize and live with, though I wouldn't have it any other way. I lost a wee bit under 10k two weeks before with said degeneracy; regardless, there I was harnessing my Chi in the parking structure to redeem myself - maybe I should have been volunteering at a soup kitchen or raising malnourished kittens instead of this self centered quest, but the journey had already commenced..
The only game with an open seat is a 5/10 and I sit down with $666 for my own amusement. The villain of this hand had accidentally revealed his cards to my peaking eyes a few hands before where he floated 2x and bombed a paired board with nothing against a nit. Having known this, I flatted his 3b to 105 with my QQ's because his range is too wide to rip it and checked to him when the board came T95 rainbow, surprisingly he checks back. Turn is a 4 (bringing in clubs) and I lead for 60 to hopefully induce - he flats. River is an offsuit Ace and I check it, he insta rips all in for 550 effective. I ruminate on quantum theory and my mother's abuse, then make the crying call only due to the fact that I saw his donkalicous play before. Sure enough, he flops over 57h and the trip is off to a BANG. After playing tight for another hour and as the table slowly began to break, I walk out with nearly a grand more to my name.
I sat in my Volvo wagon with an American spirit fading to my finger tips and Bach's E Major Partita emitting from mere mm's of my phone's speakers, I realized I had completed the most objective objective of this trip.. The only reason I set off was because my cello "broke" the day before and the degen tingles were too convincing without a bow in hand, now I had more than enough in profit to get my baby tuned up. But who the fuck has the time to act upon their conscience, I'm tryin to GAMBOL! "Vegas, here I come darlin."
I stopped in Barstow to force myself to vomit and then gently placed a tab of LSD under my tongue in ode to Dr. Gonzo. I tried deciphering some meaning in the vast array of stars as I wandered the barren Mojave and after coming up short, I was back to flooring it on the 15. My optics were melting a tad and the road did permeate with my breath, but not an ounce of fear radiated within. I sang my favorite songs from "O Brother Where Art Thou" and didn't think about my ex at all with "You Are My Sunshine," baby steps. With the dusk hue fading as rays of light mustered over the horizon, our beloved capitalist wasteland was within eye shot. Before I could render the inclination of a responsible thought, I was in the Bellagio parking lot smoking weed with some drunk broad beggin for a few bucks to throw on slots - "Ganja is the only charity I provide hon."
After a few orbits at 5/10 with a far too many regs that I recognized and getting a walk with Aces, I stand up right there n then and get the hell out of that nit fest. My soul was aching for 4 cards and there's no forsaking such a ravenous urge, Aria was my destiny.
Due to the fact that live 1/2/5 PLO is actually abbreviated for BINGO, most of my play was incredibly standard and not worth typing out. There was only one hand for which wasn't a cognitive snap decision against a 10/20 pro for whom I had top set and let 3 potential straight combos get there from foolish slow play; after a minute of deciphering the hand and his perception of my image, I called his $400 river bet and got the good news. Aside from that single hand, any domesticated chimp could have been in my seat and it wouldn't have made a difference; the hands played themselves out. After 72 hours of continuous grinding and gettin lucky at 5/5/10, I reached the sacred $4,200 in profit and doubled my trip's first stop loss amount (which I had no intention of adhering to).
With 84 mildly crumpled hundreds in my pocket and that same child-like wonder pulsating; here I am wandering the strip looking for the stories in all these confused faces. But conceptualizing the seemingly infinite dimensionality within even the simplest of folk is futile when I am just as confused; I hope the find what they are looking for or find that the looking is the fun part, who the fuck knows. I appears as though the next leg of my journey is to visit my childhood home in southern Utah and commit Felony arson in spite of my mother - or I might just keep degening away. Only time will tell.

Safe travels comrades.

Two recent FREE games (+1 additional GWG added) on the Xbox One - The Four Kings Casino and Rec Room

Two recently released free games:
The Four Kings Casino & Slots - This game covers quite a lot of games housed within a virtual casino. Multiplayer card games like Poker and Blackjack, along with War, Bacarrat, Roulette, Craps and a Wheel. Slot machines and game machines. Multiplayer Bowling and Bingo. This game has about 400 easy gamerscore for free. You can get 1000GS for free, but it will be a long time as it involves leveling up. If you follow TrueAchievements, I'd recommend this game for the high ratios of even the easy achievements. This will be one of those games with a manageable completion for super high ratio. I also actually find the variety fun. It's nice to go from Poker, to Bowling, to Bingo etc.
Rec Room - This game just released on Xbox and I haven't had a chance to play it. I am told that 500 or so GS is super simple, but a completion is also a really long grind. If you follow TA you will see a high unlock amount. This isn't because it's fast. It's because it allows the loading of a save from other platforms such as Steam where people have been playing it for months (years?).
And lastly, an international Freebie for Gold members. On top of the 4 Games with Gold titles currently announced, the following is available if you follow this link and do NOT change the store region out of Japan.
Frontlines - Fuel of War (360 but Backwards Compat)
Enjoy!

The Battle Plan (Woodchipper Edition)

Hey you!
Yes you!
Where all the videos at?
Well, it's been an intriguing few weeks here in the Failuredrome as I found myself in a slightly odd position of not having more than one game on my menu - that game being the Transport Fever.
The short series' on Mars Horizons and SimCasino were plenty of fun but were always intended to be quick blasts rather than anything more lengthy. I've since gone looking for further quick blasts but come up empty.
This has either been because I knew the games wouldn't evade the woodchipper, or because I'd tread the ground before in other games (played one startup company game that has a strong tick-based mechanic, played them all).
So, I slung up some Rimworld, thinking that because it suited my own brand of organic incompetence well it'd fill the gap nicely until the Next Grand Endeavour.
And yet, not so much. In addition, the less said about Sunday's Sports Slot the better. Hope you enjoyed the football episode, cos it turns out that was a one and done.
"BUT I WAS ENJOYING THAT!"
Yes... sorry. Here, our story takes a minor turn in the direction of YouTube theory. If it's dull, skip forward to the part where I talk about trains.
Okay, some basic YouTube theory, or rather, how to build a growing YouTube channel.
So, record a video. Ideally one that's quite good. Plunk it up on the YouTube and you get a few views. More views are better, but any views at all help.
Now record the next video. Again, get to plunking. Now here comes the interesting part - try to make it get more views than the previous one. Yes, "well duh!" but also because the way the algorithm generates traffic for you is based on each individual video. The level to which that video is recommended to viewers is dictated by the performance of recent videos. Build a smash hit then a dud, and the dud acts as a drag on the channel.
So, you don't want duds. Got it. Rather, to maximise your growth you want each subsequent video to hit harder than the one previous.
The easiest way to do that is to ensure that as many people as possible who watched your previous escapade watch the next one too. You'd think series would help with that. They don't. They actually hold you back, as each subsequent episode is likely to perform slightly worse than the previous one. There's also a minor factor of new people being reluctant to get involved at episode 14 than they are at episode 1.
This is retreading old ground, let's move on.
I use the woodchipper as a benchmark for "dud or stud" and it's served me very nicely thankyouverymuch. But I've also self-sabotaged along the way by indulging in long series that act as a drag on overall performance - baseball being chief among these. It's a series that served my commentary style nicely, but didn't fit with the taste in topic for many of my existing subscribers. This is key - if my video matches the taste of a subscriber (and they're more likely to get a recommendation) it's more likely to do well.
Again, the old ground of staying on topic.
To that end, I'm going to stop self-sabotaging for a while and see what happens. This will mean that my channel covers the following:
- games with trains (TRAINS PEOPLE START HERE)
- town/city builders
- daft simulators
That's it. That's the limit.
I'm not going to do massive long series very often, but I'm not killing them off either. Series will continue when I feel like I still have stories to tell. What will happen however is more one-and-done episodes (probably on a fixed day each week) and I felt that the 3-6 part short-run approach was working out quite nicely.
There will be more trains. I haven't done enough with trains lately, and that's fine, but let's give the trains people what trains people want: trains.
It'll take a little while to get all this moving the right way, but here's what's coming up this week.

Rimworld will be picked up after I'm done with my festive nonsense (horse racing next!) when it'll be the Saturday night stream. Sorry Bannerlord friends, after a couple of parts in the 3rd outing I got the strong impression that I wasn't doing anything new. It's still a whole lot of fun to play but, been there, seen it, done it.
If you want to verify anything I've claimed above, click the "videos" option on my channel homepage and look at the numbers for yourself.
It's all good. I might just go and have a long think about starting a standalone sports channel...

Up to £197.99 profit in cashback through gambling offers with TopCashback, Quidco and OhMyDosh

Up to £197.99 profit in cashback through gambling offers with TopCashback, Quidco and OhMyDosh
The first step is to sign up for the cashback sites if you haven't already. If you use a referral link to sign up then you can get an extra bonus once your cashback becomes payable:
Then the next step is to work through the offers. These are all only available for new customers, so if you already have an account with one of the sites then you won't be elegible for the offer from them unfortunately. It's also worth checking the terms for some, for example Coral/Gala, as both are owned by the same brand so having an account with one will exclude you from being elegible for the offer from the other. In these cases, I'd recommend going with the one offering the highest payout amount compared to the required deposit or wager.
Offers
# Site From Cashback Deposit/Wager Profit
1 Betfair Poker Quidco £50 £10 £40
2 Coral Casino TCB £42 £10 £32
3 Ladbrokes Casino TCB £42 £10 £32
4 William Hill Casino OMD £40 £10 £30
5 Pokerstars Quidco £32 £20 £12
6 Paddy Power Games TCB / Quidco £20 £10 £10
7 Gala Bingo OMD £12.50 £5 £7.50
8 Tombola TCB £15.75 £10 £5.75
9 Lottoland TCB £15.75 £10.01 £5.74
10 Lottomart TCB £18 £10 £8
11 BingoPort TCB £3 - £3
Notes
If you complete all these offers then you should make £185.99 cashback in profit through the offers alone. If you are new to the cashback sites and sign up through referral links then this will be £197.99 instead. There's also a chance you can make a profit on all the offers and walk away with even more.
There's also a final few key points:
  • Make sure you have all adblockers and tracking protection switched off as otherwise this may lead to issues with the cashback tracking.
  • I don't like to say the cashback is guaranteed as all the cashback sites say it never is, but I've never had an issue with any of these sites, whether through gambling offers or general cashback.
  • Please be aware that these all these offers all are gambling, I'd highly recommend depositing and wagering only the mimimum amount required to get the cashback, then withdrawing any profit you may have made.
  • Please Be Gamble Aware when using these sites.
Let me know if you have any questions about any of these offers :)

Conceal Carry in Casinos

I live in North Dakota and the century code here says you cannot conceal carry in a section of an establishment set aside for buying and consuming liquor or a gaming site where bingo is the main activity.
Would I be able to conceal carry at the local casinos? From reading this I do not think I'm able to conceal carry as you can buy a drink at a blackjack table and the like, but I would like another pair of non lawyer eyes to take a second look. My coworker's mom was robbed of 14 grand at a casino and I want to keep my money.

Online Casinos With Flash Games Available

If you're looking for an easy way to learn how to play poker online, I suggest you consider IDNPoker. The website is very mobile-friendly, has a progressive jackpot that upgrades in real time and offers eight customizable deposit choices. Eight customizable deposit choices include US dollars, Euros, Pounds, Canadian dollars, Japanese Yen, Swiss Francs and Euros. ISIDNPoker is definitely the place to be if you want to learn how to play poker online.
Now let's take a look at some of the games available at idNPoker. The website offers a variety of online gaming formats including Texas Holdem, Caribbean Stud Poker, and Online Caribbean Craps. In addition, there are other games available, including Bingo, Keno, Lottery Wheel, Online Free Roll Poker, and Online Skratch Card Games. If you haven't tried any of these games, you should really give them a try! There are also a variety of bonus offers and promotions on the website that will increase your earnings even more.
The website offers a variety of poker games from around the world. In fact, if you've ever considered playing poker at an actual live casino, I wouldn't recommend it. There are too many issues that just don't make the experience realistic or enjoyable. However, online gambling is a completely different story.
If you choose to play at an actual live casino, you will likely have to convert at the time of purchase if you are not a U.S. citizen or a resident of certain western countries. This often requires you to wait an additional three to five hours before you can cash out your winnings. This is especially troublesome in the case of progressive jackpots which are typically much larger than the maximum amount of cash that one player can claim. For this reason, I recommend that if you are planning to spend some money on an idNPoker poker game, you play it at an internet casino. These casinos are usually considerably faster and convenient, especially considering the fact that you can play from the comfort of your own home.
There are currently no known negative aspects of playing at an internet casino, including the possibility of playing with fake money. Although I was unable to find any information on this matter, it is important to consider that the internet offers a virtually risk free environment for all of its consumers. Unfortunately, due to the lack of regulation, there are no procedures in place to ensure that individuals and businesses are conducting business in a manner that is both legitimate and safe.
Unfortunately, there are also some risks involved with playing at an idNPoker game online. For example, players may be subject to the use of bots which will place them at a disadvantageous position in the match. Bots are a way of limiting the effect of human emotion and error by selecting the highest paying handouts for the players in order to keep the winnings coming. However, due to these risks, I recommend that players who intend to participate in an idNPoker game with a live dealer try the game at an internet casino prior to participating in an actual live casino.

General feedback (pt 1)

I labeled this as "pt 1" not because I immediately have a part 2 coming any time soon, but because I haven't actually played the game a ton yet, but I plan to play it quite a bit more and expect to have more feedback. I love SimAirport, and SimCasino had been on my wishlist for a while, so I'm glad it has finally made it to early access.
This will largely be a list of (hopefully constructive) criticism. I am enjoying the game. And to be clear, almost all the feedback I have are things I view as pretty minor and not greatly impacting my ability to enjoy the game so far, but definitely some areas that can use some polish.

I'm going to stop here for now. Like I said, there will be more in the future. I am enjoying the game and am exciting to see it develop. The three comments to discuss in detail will come a bit later as I have a few things I need to do at the moment.

Entitled guests yells at security for guarding money and not stopping to answer questions

So I am working as a security officer at a local casino while looking for work in my preferred field of I.T. and boy do I have some entitled stories from work. Today when I get to work our shift goes into a briefing like we do everyday and we get our assignments for the day. Today must have been my lucky day as I got one of the best assignments I get to roam around all day and respond to the cage needing access to the ticket redemption machines. If I'm not helping the cage I roam unless I am given a task from control.
We get our assignments and we hit the floor. Almost as soon as we hit the floor a task goes out to another officer to do an escort from one of the bars to the cage to turn in the cash from their register. I happened to be closer to that bar and I called the officer dispatched on my radio and told them to stand down I will pick up that escort, control copied and I head to the bar. Once I get to the bar I call surveillance on the radio and tell them I'm doing as escort from the bar to the cage, survalance copies and they are now watching us as we travel through the casino.
The location of this bar is in the farthest place in the casino from the cage so we have a decent walk. Now as a security escort once we call surveillance we cannot stop as we are guarding the currency our cashier is carrying, also since we are guarding the currency we have the authority to tell not ask people to move out of the way so we can get through (we rarely ever do such unless a walkway is crowded). So on an escort you walk at a brisk pace 45 degrees off to the side of the cashier that has the money and maybe a half step behind them. If anyone gets in the way we don't stop we will walk a different way or force our way through if absolutely necessary to protect the money and cashier. I hope you get the picture we don't stop once we begin moving for ANY reason.
So we are walking and about halfway there when a man sitting at a slot machine yells at the cashier asking her what the name of the coffee shop right behind us is and she didn't realise he was talking to her and she ignores him. I turn my head to answer his question while still walking by. The man then screams WILL YOU ACKNOWLEDGE ME!!!! and as I said before we don't stop for any reason. We continue to the cage and we say a few words about how rude he was and we reach the cage. I then call control and let them know I am clear of the escort. I begin to walk back to the man and I approach him and say.
Op=me Ej=entitled jerk
OP: I'm sorry sir I wanted to apologize for us not stopping as were unable to stop once we being doing an escort.
Ej: (cuts me off) you can't tell me that being rude and ignoring a guest is ok with the casino!?
Op: no sir it is not but per casino policy once security begins an escort we cannot stop.
Ej: (cuts me off again) I was a cop in big city 20 miles away for 25 years and never did I ever treat a citizen like you treated me!
Op: again sir I'm trying to apologize to you and explain why we couldn't stop and answer your initial question.
Ej: (cuts me off again) you can't tell me that being on a mission is more important than a guest!!
Op: (staying calm but getting frustrated) sir I'm sorry that you feel this way but I was guarding money and I can't stop.
Ej: tell me what casinos in our state have been robbed in the last 5 years?
Op: well the casino 5 miles down the road was just last year another reason we don't stop for any reason.
Ej: that's just a bingo hall it's not a casino!!
OP: sir that is a casino they have slots and bingo regardless if you want to acknowledge that my orders don't change and neither does policy.
Ej: show me the policy that says you can be rude to a guest and not talk to them!
Op: I'm really sorry we can't come to an agreement on this but if you would like to file a complaint you can at the security desk right behind us, also it appears my supervisors are right there as well, here is my name and badge number if you need it.
Ej: why bother I have done that already and nothing came of it!
OP: well I'm sorry we can't agree.
Ej: well we can agree to disagree.
Op: sure. Have a good evening and best of luck.
And I walk away. One of me leads was watching the whole encounter and observing how I dealt with the situation and approached me and asked if everything was alright afterwards. I said yea and quickly ran to my locker to put away some gloves I wasn't needing and returned to the gaming floor. I went to look for my lead and explain what had happened. Little did I know Ej went to complain about stubbing his toe!?!?! And employees being rude. My lead started laughing when I explained what actually happened and said were all good.
More to the story. So after the cashier and I blew by EJ another guard heard him get upset and tried to answer his question but he just yelled at the other guard. Also less than 10 feet from where EJ was sitting were 2 other guards who could have answered his question if he had asked and even better yet less than 30 feet away was the coffee shop he wanted to know the name of. While I have come to like my job I encounter a lot of entitled people and this one was one of my favorites.
Yes I know you are holding a lot of money but stop and answer my question...hey talk to me...hey!!!!
Yea no sorry not how it works buddy.
Side note. If we had stopped we could have been written up or fired on the spot for not following cash handling procedure and casino policy. Just incase anyone is on EJs side.
Another side note. 99% of casino guests know when security is doing something and to give them space as we are only focused on our task and we ask people to watch out for us politely unless they don't move then we tell them to move and the only times we do this is when moving money to or from point a to point b or urgently responding to an incident. 99% of the time you see security we are just making a presence and not on a task.
I am by nature a kind person I dont like being rude and is the reason I went back to talk to the EJ to try to clarify. I also know my job well enough to know that I wouldn't be in any trouble for not stopping to answer his question no matter how pissed off he was at us.

Scratch Cards Guide - How to Play

Scratch Cards Guide - How to Play
Scratch cards are a very simple game, although depending on the software provider that developed them there may be some variations between them. In this article in the form of a guide we wanted to classify them by type to later explain in a practical way and with examples how to play the different types of slot machines that we can find.
Depending on their design, we can classify online scratch cards into two main types :
Online scratch cards similar to traditional ones
Online scratch cards similar to slots
Depending on how to get the prizes, we can classify the scratch cards into two other large groups :
Scratch cards with prizes associated with the ranks
Scratch cards with prizes associated with symbols
We will build on this classification to explain with real examples how to play different types of scratch cards online.

https://preview.redd.it/heucuwz8qd761.png?width=350&format=png&auto=webp&s=74e3bd23e85ce7b317313d58556c03185fd2e112
1. Scratch cards similar to the traditional ones
hese types of games are the ones that most resemble traditional scratch cards , that is, cardboard ones. A good example to explain them is the game Crazy Fruits, developed by the provider Gamesys. We can find it in casinos like Botemanía or CanalBingo.
As in the traditional game, you will have to go to a store to buy your cards. In this case it will not be a physical store (don't worry), but you will only have to go to the 'scratch card store' of the online casino . In this store you will find the different cards available and their prices.
You can buy as many cards as you want! Its operation is very simple. You will only have to get 3 icons of the same type to win . For example, the Crazy Fruits game card that appears in the image is worth € 0.40 and with it you can win a maximum prize of € 16. For this you will have to get 3 icons with the image of the pear. That easy! The symbols do not need to occupy consecutive positions, but can appear in any box.
2. Scratch Cards similar to slot machines
Not all scracht cards are that simple. The proof of this is the scratch cards of this second group. These differ from the rest by their similarity to online slots . They have a much more elaborate design and graphics and can sometimes also include videos and animations. In addition, some of them also have wild and scatter symbols , which will allow you to increase your winnings.
The operation of this game is very similar to the previous one. However, this time you will not have to go to a store to buy your card and the price of this card will not be fixed either. In this case, you can choose the amount of money you want to play each time and the prizes will vary depending on the bet made. Of course, as in the previous example, to win you will need to obtain 3 icons of the same type anywhere on the card.
3. Scratch Cards with prizes associated with the number of symbols
The two examples that we have seen above belong to the group of scratch cards where the prizes are associated with a number of symbols of the same type, without these having to occupy a certain position. To win you only need X symbols of the same type to appear on the screen, no matter where . Another good example of this type of card is The Godfather game, developed by the provider GextGen.
In The Godfather scratch card you will have to choose how much money you want to play each time and the prizes will vary depending on the amount wagered. For example, in the image provided, the bet made is € 0.03. Therefore, if scratching all the boxes reveals three icons represented by the toad, our bet would be multiplied x100 and we would win € 30. As we can see, the position of the symbols does not influence the prize at all , since in this type of cards only the number matters.
4. Scratch Cards with progressive jackpots or jackpots
Lastly, we couldn't finish this article without first mentioning jackpot scratch cards . As in slots, there are some scratch cards that are associated with a large jackpot or progressive jackpot , it grows as users play and only stops when a player wins the prize. Then you start over from scratch. These types of scratch cards have an added thrill, because you never know who will be the lucky one to take home the grand prize.
For example, the Scratch King card features a progressive jackpot. In it, you will need to get five jokers to win the big pot. We wish you the best of luck playing!

Up to £201.76 profit in cashback through gambling offers with TopCashback, Quidco and OhMyDosh

Up to £201.76 profit in cashback through gambling offers with TopCashback, Quidco and OhMyDosh
1 Betfair Poker Quidco £50 £10 £40
2 Coral Casino TCB £42 £10 £32
3 Ladbrokes Casino TCB £42 £10 £32
4 William Hill Casino OMD £40 £10 £30
5 Pokerstars Quidco £32 £20 £12
6 Paddy Power Games TCB / Quidco £20 £10 £10
7 Lottoland TCB £20 £10.01 £9.99
8 Lottomart TCB £18 £10 £8
9 Tombola Quidco £17.32 £10 £7.32
10 BingoPort TCB £3 - £3
11 LottoGo OMD £4 £2 £2
12 Free Slots Genie OMD £1.25 - £1.25
13 Free Spins Loopy OMD £0.80 - £0.80
14 Mr Free Slots OMD £0.80 - £0.80
15 FreeBingoGenie OMD £0.60 - £0.60
Notes
If you complete all these offers then you should make £189.76 cashback in profit through the offers alone. If you are new to the cashback sites and sign up through referral links then this will be £201.76 instead.
